FRANCIS (FRANK) SR. LANGTON

December 19, 1915 – June 3, 2006

Peacefully with his family by his side, Francis (Frank) Langton Sr. departed this life at the age of 90 years.

Predeceased was his loving wife, Hilda Mary Langton. Frank is survived by his children; Shirley (Larry Otto) of Peachland, Frank (Chris) Langton of Chilliwack, Brian (Phakamat) Langton of Fort McMurray, Sherry Langton of Chilliwack, Trish (Terry) James of Squamish along with all of Frank’s grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Frank was an exceptional man who lived life large. He was born in Scotland and served 29 years as a staff sergeant in the military service playing his trumpet in the Royal Canadian Engineers Band. Frank had many passions in life; his music, tap dancing and his love for gardening.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Bernie Klassen and the nurses on the 3rd floor of Chilliwack General Hospital for taking such great care of our father.

A celebration of Frank’s life will take place June 10, 2006 at 1:30 pm from the Salvation Army Church on Brooks Avenue in Chilliwack with Major Don Law officiating. Donations in Frank’s memory may be made to the Salvation Army Church.
