Flavio Jorge Garcia passed away at the Chilliwack General Hospital on February 19, 2009. He died at the age of 77 battling prolonged illnesses.
He leaves behind his wife Arline Janice; two sons: Ramon Jorge and Dale Brian; one daughter: Heather; two daughters-in-law: Cathy and Janine; two grandchildren: Desirea and Justin; one great-grandson: Linden; also one sister: Patricia and her daughters of Ireland.
Jorge was born in Hong Kong, and moved to Canada in 1956 where he proudly served in the Canadian Air Force for 21 years. This is where he met the love of his life, Red. They had 53 years together, raising a family and travelling the world.
A Celebration of His Life will be held at a later date.
