Nov. 13, 1919-Dec. 30, 2009

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Fenetta Aeleen Pearson, affectionately known as Fae, at Glenwood Rest Home in Agassiz, B.C. on December 30th, 2009 at the age of 90. Fae was born in Nanaimo, B.C. and was predeceased by her siblings, Jack Eaton (brother), Greg Eaton (brother), Gwendolyn Eaton (sister), and grandson Stephen MacKay. She is survived by her children, Marlene MacKay (Sherwin), Glenda Pearson (Norma), Eric Pearson (Linda); her grandchildren, Shelley, Mark, Susan, Lee and Sherry; her great-grandchildren, Clinton, Chris, Kyle and Brandon. Fae has also left behind her dear friend of 80 years Irene Johnston. (Sis) Fae was an extraordinary mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, always smiling and taking time for everyone. Fae was enormously proud of her family and friends. Her working career was spent at the Harrison Hotel, retiring after 25 years. In her spare time Fae excelled at knitting and crocheting, making wonderful gifts for everyone. She was dearly loved by her family and friends and will be greatly missed. Along with the memories and momentos, she has left us with the remembrance of her unconditional love, kindness, generosity, and unfailing acceptance of people. The family would like to thank Dr. L. MacIntosh and everyone at Glenwood Rest Home for the care and compassion they provided Fae in her final years. No service will be held at Fae’s request.
