Evert Dave “Blacky” Guliker passed away at home on July 2, 2004, at age 66 years. He was born September 8, 1937 in Nÿkerk, The Netherlands.
Dave is survived by Helena Guliker, mother of his children, Anita Guliker (Al), Helen Vroegop (Frank), Edward Guliker, and Diana Visscher (Chris); grandchildren, Cory, Alex, Jessie and Ricki-Lee Slootweg, Clayton, Lianne, and Justin Vroegop, Michelle, Jonathan and Kimberly Guliker, Michael, Cheri, Wesley and Eddy Visscher.
He was predeceased by his mother in 1948 and his father in 1970.
Dave immigrated to Canada in 1950 and worked in the cement and forming industry. He farmed for 12 years and was a resident of 100 Mile House for 10 years. For the last 3 years of his life, he was the Owner Manager of Western Form Rentals.
Dave enjoyed music and the beauty of creation.
Viewing for family and friends will be on July 6, 2004 between 7 and 9 pm. at the Chapel of Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home, 45865 Hocking Ave., Chilliwack, BC.
A Funeral Service will be held on July 7, 2004 at 1:30 pm from the Free Reformed Church of Chilliwack, 45471 Yale Rd West, Chilliwack, BC, Pastor Hans Overduin officiating. Interment at Chilliwack Cemetery on Little Mountain.
