Eve began her career in nursing at several nursing homes in Ontario. She continued to nurse in Chilliwack B.C. until retirement. For many years she worked along side her husband at Crystal Lake Lodge, an outpost fishing camp. Then they decided to move west to Agassiz for a retirement career in real estate.

Many weekends were spent at their property in Peaceful Valley, Washington. The door of their home in Chilliwack was always open to enjoy the fragrance of homemade bread, soup, and a cup of coffee. Her greatest enjoyment came in her multi talented gift of quilting and sewing teddy bears for charity. Time spent with her many close friends at Rebekah Lodge brought a smile to her face.

Upon moving to Lethbridge in September 2002, she quickly became a part of her community of friends at her Lodge, St. Augustine's Church, and her many neighbors.

Special thanks to Dr. Melling, Dr. Holland, and Dr. Buck, the staff of the Cancer clinic and the palliative care nursing staff at St. Michael's Health Centre for your care and compassion which will always be remembered and appreciated by the family.
