Ernest Alfred Morford passed away on December 29th, 2009 at the age of 93 years. He was born on December 25th, 1916 in Sardis, British Columbia.
Predeceased by his wife Rosa in 1979. Ernest is survived by his children Wayne, Jim, Judy (Ken) Knutson, Cathy (Grant) Denham, 10 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren, sisters Eileen Wenn and Elaine Burns, and brother Gordon.
Ernest was an avid gardener and long-time contractor in the area who always loved to build. He was a very supportive and loving father who most enjoyed the time he spent with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
The family would like to give a heartfelt thanks to the Cascade Hospice for their gentle assistance over the last few days. And a very special thanks to neighbours Grant and Judy for being so caring.
Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 5th, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel at Henderson’s Funeral Home, 45901 Victoria Avenue, Chilliwack.
