Born March 4, 1936 in Viking, Alberta, Erma Beth Douthwright passed away peacefully with her children by her side on January 20, 2010 at Cascade Lodge, Chilliwack.
Predeceased by her daughter Pauline and grandson Shawn. Beth will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by son Andrew Douthwright (Shauna), daughters Catherine Seymour, Donna Laurence (Adrian), 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Beth lived most of her life in Chilliwack. She graduated from Chilliwack Sr. in 1953. She was a hard worker and in her final years worked with the Senior Vets Club. She loved to knit, crochet, play darts, bowling, cards and columns on her Sega Genesis. She was a three time gold medal winner in the Senior Games! She was involved in the Women’s Catholic League, and the Anavets Ladies Auxiliary. She will be remembered for her quick wit, strength of heart, kindness, and will to live.
We would like to thank the staff at Cascade Lodge for all the care given to Beth over the last Year. A celebration of life was held at Henderson's on January 25, 2010.
