Enid Margaret Booth passed away in the early morning of September 30, 2005.
Enid was born in Regina, Sask. On Feb. 22, 1917, the eldest daughter of Annie & Ken Crook.
She was predeceased by her husband, Stan in 1977; son Jim in 1999; sister Dorothy and brothers Glen, Don and Bus.
Enid is survived by her daughter, Kathy (Paul) Gelineau of Abbotsford, grandchildren Jeff, Robbie (Margo) and Joanna; son Ted (Bev), grandchildren Deanna (Ben), Selena and Melinda; great-grandchildren Julien and Trent; grandchildren Tamara (Toronto) and Sara (Kelowna); sisters Kathleen Mitchell (White Rock) and Lois Bewley (Vancouver); and very good friend Louise Bell.
Enid was a long-time member of St. Thomas Anglican Church and member of the St. Thomas Parish Guild. She was a member of the Naturalist Club, Camera Club and the Heritage Singers.
She enjoyed travelling, photography, bowling, cards and played a mean game of Scrabble,. But her greatest love was spending time with family and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at St. Thomas Anglican Church on Thursday, October 6, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. For those desiring, donations in Enid’s memory may be made to Parkinson B.C. Naturalists or B.C. Children’s Hospital.
