Born September 3, 1919 in Quinton, Saskatchewan. Passed away in Victoria on February 10, 2004.
Predeceased by her husband Bill, her daughter Sylvia Howie (Larry, Saskatoon), and her sister Margaret Altermatt.
Emma will be sadly missed by her sister Paula Baggenstos (Regina); her daughter Kathleen (John) Cossom (Victoria); five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Emme taught school in Sask., Manitoba, and from 1963-1974 at Chilliwack Junior High School. She was an active, committed member of Chilliwack United Church; the YMCA; the Horticultural Society and the Seniors Resource Centre.
A memorial service will be held at Chilliwack United Church on Friday, Mar. 12, 2004 at 1:30 p.m. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or the Chilliwack United Church Memorial Fund.
