Elsie Mabel Olive CROSMAN

Elsie Crosman passed away peacefully in her sleep at home in Chilliwack on March 21, 2005 at the age of 87 years. She was born in Chilliwack on March 26, 1917 and lived her entire life in Chilliwack.

In her last few years, Elsie enjoyed the daycare program at Parkholm Lodge were she loved to sing and visit other seniors and staff. She also entertained the staff at Chilliwack General Hospital Emergency ward with her singing during her frequent visits over the last two years. She enjoyed being a grandmother to her many foster grandchildren.

Elsie is survived by her sons Leigh (Shirley) of Kamloops and Charlie (Karen) of Chilliwack, grandchildren Bob Crosman, Stacey (Bill) Johnston, Jeni (Dave) Fowler, Amy Crosman, Clint Crosman, Cheryl (Colin) Lacey, Gord Crosman, Nicole Crosman, Stuart Crosman and great-grand children, Krysy, Jerrod, Seth, Kate and Thomas.

Elsie was predeceased by her husband Emerson Crosman in August 2001, an infant son in 1947 and sisters Isabelle Bremner, Jean McKenzie and Muriel Ward.

Special thanks to the Parkholm Daycare Program and Fraser Health Authority Home Support Service, especially Kate, for all their help and support over the years for both Elsie and Emerson.

A graveside service will be held at Carman Cemetery with Rev. Michael Hare officiating at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Mar. 26, 2005. This would have been Elsie’s 88th birthday.
