Elsie Enns passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2008 in Chilliwack at age 90 years. She was born January 11, 1918.
Elsie is survived by her children: Art (Lois) and Gerry (Charlotte); grandchildren: Toni (Mike) Pullan, Mark (Sandra) Enns and Dustin (Ashley) Enns; great-grandchildren: Sheyen, Ciara, Elena, Colin and Jeremy.
She was predeceased by her husband Jacob; son, Edward; grandson: Joshua Enns; and great-grandson Wyatt Pullan.
Elsie was born in Russia and immigrated to Canada in the 1930’s. She met Jacob in Abbotsford and they were married October 2, 1938. She was baptized in 1950 and had been a member of Greendale MB Church since that time. Elsie was a faithful woman who centered her life and the lives of her family around God. Mom’s claim to fame was her cooking, it was great and there was always lots of it.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 22, 2008 at Greendale MB Church, 6550 Sumas Prairie Rd. Rusty Riemer and Reg Toews officiants.
Burial will take place in the Greendale Cemetery at 9:30 pm.
