It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother and grandmother. She was born August 8, 1931 in New Westminster, BC and passed away peacefully with family by her side on May 3, 2012 at Surrey Memorial Hospital.
She is predeceased by her husband Harry (September 8, 2011) and sisters Anna and Jean. She is survived by her beloved children Gary (Sharlene), Brenda (Murray) and Lori (John); grandchildren Stephen, Laura, Sandra, Christopher, Kailey and Erin; 6 great-grandchildren and one due in August. She will also be missed by sister Norma Jamieson other extended family members and dear friends.
Lois had a heart of gold that she loved to share with her family and especially her grandchildren. She loved to spend time with her late husband of 60 years as well as her family at Pavilion Lake. She was a volunteer with the Lady Lions and loved a good crossword puzzle. Her family will miss her minced meat tarts but forever cherish the memories they have shared together. There will be no service at her request; however donations in Lois’s memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
