Elizabeth “Betty” Sagert, late of Chilliwack, passed away July 26, 2003 at the age of 89 years.
She was born in Russia, April 24, 1914. Public visitation will be held on Monday, Aug. 4, 2003 from the Chapel of Henderson’s Funeral Home from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Memorial Service will be held at the Christian and Missionary Alliance on Young Road, Chilliwack on Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. Pastor H. Throness officiating. Interment in Oddfellows Cemetery.
Betty is survived by four sons: Ronald (Evelyn) of Galt, CA, Robert (Joan) of Sarnia, ON, Larry (Carol ) Cusco, Peru, Arthur (Mary) of Tottenham, ON; one daughter, Diane (Rodney) Bowman of Santa Rosa, CA; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and one sister, Vi Horner of Abbotsford, BC.
She was predeceased by her husband Herman in 1988; three brothers: Dave, Henry, Albert; and two sisters: Agnes & Marie.
