It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Elizabeth Barson November 22nd, 2012 at the Chilliwack General Hospital.

Elizabeth (McInally) Barson was born of Hugh McInally and Mary (Kelly) McInally at 29 Blackfriars St. Glasgow Scotland November 9th 1928.

Elizabeth was predeceased by her Husband, John Fraser Barson of Glasgow Scotland, mother, Mary Kelly and father, Hugh McInally of Scotland, younger brother, Hugh (Junior) of Australia, and Sister Catherine Sequin of Manitouwadge Ontario.

Elizabeth is survived by sisters Mary Sullivan of Dalmeny Saskatchewan, Alice McGowan of Blackpool England, Leslie Harris of Shropshire England and Carol Craig of Cochrane Alberta. Elizabeth is also survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Mary and sons, John, Wayne, Gordon, Cameron, and Ronald Barson, grandchildren; Shannon, Alex, BriWany, Brennon, Ben, Ian, KrisXna and Katrina, great grandchildren and many nephews, nieces.

Elizabeth emigrated to Canada in 1957 with husband John Fraser, Daughter Elizabeth, and son John. Living in Manitouwadge Ontario and Uranium City Saskatchewan unXl the late 60’s, when they moved out west to Tahsis, Vancouver Island B.C., eventually seWling in Sardis and finally Chilliwack in 1970.

Elizabeth, aka. BeWy or “Mrs. B” was a fun loving-°©?wiWy woman. She was a strong, compassionate mother who loved to dance and was a devout,(spirited) Canucks fan. Although BeWy worked in retail with the SalvaXon Army and other clothing outlets, her toughest was raising five boys on her own.

Shortly past her 84th birthday, with friends and family by her side, Elizabeth departed from this world peacefully, on her own terms. In loving memory, there will be a CelebraXon of Elizabeth’s life at a later date. In lue of flowers or gifs, the family request that donaXons be made to a foundaXon or Charity of your choosing.
