Passed away suddenly on October 9, 2009. Eleanor was born February 8, 1925 in Vancouver and served in the WWII Canadian Women’s Army Corps and later worked at Prince of Wales School.
Predeceased by husband Jim in 1968 and brother Bill and sister Edna.
In 1974 Eleanor moved her family to Chilliwack and worked as a realtor until she retired at the age of 65.
Eleanor’s passions were golfing and line dancing and will be remembered for her sense of humour, volunteer work, loyalty to her family and friends.
She will be sadly missed by her son David (Susan), daughters Lois (Gerry) and Heather (Andy), grandchildren Ryan (Michelle), Hayley, Jennifer and Taylor and sisters Lois & Irene and many friends.
