Chilliwack native, Eileen Vivian Jones, recently passed away in Langley Memorial Hospital.
During her long, love-filled life from March 24, 1921 to July 11, 2008, she touched many hearts and will remain in many memories.
Daughter of the deceased Albert Henry and Daisy Rae Hall, she was wed and devoted to John Gardhouse Watson until his accidental death in 1962.
However, this tragedy did not stop Eileen from being a caring and supportive mother to John Douglas and Marlene Rae.
In 1987 Eileen was blessed with her first grandchild, Stewart Owen. Within the next five years she would rejoice over the birth of three more grandchildren, Katharine and Alana Watson, and Francis Owen.
For the next 20 years she spent her time performing plays, learning French, but mostly spending time with her beloved children and grandchildren.
Eileen Vivian Jones was, and will always remain, in our hearts, and she will be greatly missed.
