Ed passed away peacefully at his home in Chilliwack after a long health battle. Ed was born and raised in Chilliwack and spent much of his life in the Fraser Valley.
Ed was one of four children born to Norm and the late Joyce Standeven. Ed will be lovingly remembered by his devoted siblings Bob (Elva) Standeven, June (Cliff) Oss and Bruce (Lila) Standeven, beloved children Daniel Standeven and Kim (Joedy) Standeven, partner Shirley Mickler, along with countless other friends and family whom were blessed to know and love him.
We would like to extend a special thank you to all the staff at Cascade Care home who went above and beyond to make Ed feel at home.
Ed’s love of motorcycles, music and laughter will live on through our memories. Ed touched the lives of many people with his caring heart and sharp sense of humour. He will be missed.
