Edward Leslie McDonald late of Chilliwack, formerly of Vancouver, passed away March 2, 2003 in McIntosh Lodge at the age of 86 years. He was born August 10, 1916 in Portage La Prairie, Man., and had lived in this area for over 20 years.
Edward was a millworker. He was heavily involved with his church group and was a compassionate, caring individual with a remarkable sense of humour. He will be sorely missed by all his friends and neighbours.
A funeral service will be held at the chapel of Henderson’s Funeral Home on Friday, Mar. 7, 2003 at 2:30 p.m. Mr. James Read officiating. Interment at Oddfellows Cemetery.
Casket bearers: Greg Nord-Leth, Erik Hobbs, Don Hobbs, Fred Walter, Brooks Alden, and Dave Bauder.
Edward is survived by several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his loving wife Lucielle in 1988.
