Edward LAMBE

It is with regret that we announce the passing of Edward Lambe, on Thursday November 7, 2002, at the Chilliwack General Hospital after a short battle with cancer.

Ed was born in New York City on 16 Oct 1917. He came to Canada as a young boy eventually settling in Liverpool, Nova Scotia. As a young man he joined the RCAF and became a career airman. Ed was stationed at many Air Force bases across Canada until his retirement in 1967. At that time he joined the staff of the Alberta Liquor Board where he was employed for 10 years. After his tenure with the liquor board Ed moved to Chilliwack and joined the staff at the Cultus Lake Parks Board and worked in the maintenance department until his retirement.

Ed will be missed by his loving wife Vicki, daughter Sandi (David), son Allan (Patty), daughter Carole, stepdaughters Donna and Jean, grand-children Roger, Marlene, Daina, Kiall, Allan Jr., Bryce, Timothy, Glynn and Jaime and 7 great grandchildren. Ed was predeceased by his beloved first wife Elsie, his brother Jim, his parents Della and Charles Lambe, his daughter-in-law Merle, his infant granddaughter Mildred Anne and his greatgrandson Adrian. A Memorial service will be held at the Cultus Lake hall on Tues 12, Nov. 2002 at 12:00 noon. A light lunch will follow. If so desired, donations in his honour may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society
