Eddie left this world too early to be with his Lord and Savior. He was born in Greendale and lived there all his life.
He worked at York Farms for 28 years until the plant closed. He enjoyed spending time helping neighbours and helping out with odd jobs at his church. He also enjoyed meeting friends on Tuesdays and riding his Harley.
The family would like to thank his many close friends for the help they have given to Ed over the years.
He is predeceased by his parents John and Suzie Bartel, sister Hilda Kornelson, and niece Lori Robertson.
Left behind are brother Dave (Hilda) of Rosedale, sister Lillian Robertson of Coquitlam and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Greendale Mennonite Brethren Church, 42369 South Sumas Road on January 7th, 2010 at 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
