Douglas Setters passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2006 at Chilliwack General Hospital at age 86 years.
He was born July 19, 1919 in Lacombe, Alberta. Douglas is survived by his wife Patricia; daughter, Sharon; son, Robert (Christine); grandchildren, Jamey, Doug, Jennifer (Jason), Sarah (Scott) and Graham; great grandson, Preston; brothers, Pat (Donna) and Crieghton (Barbara). He was predeceased by his brothers, Jim, Eugene, Albert, Clinton, David and Roger; and sisters, Colleen, Gloria and Mary.
Douglas was a war veteran and enjoyed a 25-year career with the RCAF.
His great love, after his wife and family, was his music. This he shared and enjoyed to the fullest. He will be sadly missed by family and friends.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2006 at 1:30 pm at Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home, 45865 Hocking Ave. Pastor Tim Rowan officiating.
If family and friends so desire, donations may be directed to the SPCA or to the Alzheimer’s Association of B.C. in Douglas’ name.
