Dorothy passed away in the early hours of July 20, 2012 at Heritage Village, Chilliwack, BC.
Dorothy was one of four daughters born to Henry and Mary Brown of Whitley Bay, Northumberland, England.
Mom joined the R.A.F. in 1941 where she met and married John Nichols, pilot officer R.C.A.F., and followed him to Indian Head, Sask. after the war. They moved to various provinces throughout Canada during their marriage and retired to Lindell Beach, BC in 1984.
Dorothy was predeceased by husband of 63 years, John Nichols, and survived by her daughters: Roberta (Neil) Maclean, Beverley (Jim) Grant; and son, Roy; granddaughters: Dianne McCallum, Brandy (Matt) Schmidt, Sarah MacLean and Robyn Grant.
We would like to thank Dr. William Clarke and the wonderful caregivers of Greendale as well as LPN’s and nurses that cared for mom as if she were their own.
