Dorothy Kathleen Alexander passed away on September 21, 2004 at Chilliwack General Hospital at age 87 years. She was born in Princeton, BC on May 31, 1918.
Dorothy is survived by her husband Robert Wayne Alexander; brother, Edward Jameson, several nieces and nephews and many wonderful friends.
Dorothy lived and worked in many different places on the Coast and Interior. She met her husband Robert in Vancouver, they fell in love and married in 1950. They were married for 54 years. They had no children, but were like parents to their nieces and nephews.
Dorothy was an avid gardner. She and Robert had many wonderful times together working in their garden, traveling and fishing, another thing they loved to do.
Dorothy was also a wonderful sewer, sewing Roberts, her nieces, Ann and Barbara’s clothes and her own. She also knit may beautiful afghans for her family. She loved to do needle point and kept busy doing crossword and puzzles. She will be sadly missed by her husband Robert and her family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army in Dorothy’s name.
