Dorothy CONNOLLY (nee BOSE)

Dorothy Connolly, born in Surrey Centre, July 21, 1908, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2009 in her 101st year at her residence in Langley Lodge. Dorothy was the daughter of a Surrey pioneer, Henry Bose. She was predeceased by her husband James (Sandy) Connolly, 2 brothers, Norman and Harry, and 4 sisters (Anna, Phyllis, Beattie and Katherine). She is survived and much loved by her two sons Patrick (Shelley) of Chilliwack, and Dennis (Patricia) of Langley, 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Her friends, family and care workers will all miss her smiling eyes, cheerful spirit and many stories of growing up in Cloverdale. Dorothy was a 75 year member of the Rebecca Lodge and a long time member of the Langley United Church. A private family service was held on Monday, January 12th. The family wishes to thank the staff of Langley Lodge for the wonderful care they provided her in her final years.
