Irene passed away peacefully at the Glenwood Care Centre in Agassiz.
She was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, John Reilly, and is survived by her son Simon, and daughter-in-law Laura.
Irene was born in Scunthorpe, Humberside, Lincolshire, England. She was a student nurse from 1939 – 1945 in Hull, E. Yorkshire, England. In 1957, she moved with her husband and son to Canada. She worked at the Chilliwack General Hospital until her retirement in 1967. She was a devoted member of the St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Chilliwack, and the C.W.L. “Young at Heart.”

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, May 11th 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 8909 Mary Street, Chilliwack.
