It is with sadness we announce the passing of Doris Brown at the age of 94 on Sunday, June 20th, 2010 in Chilliwack. Doris was born on March 18th, 1916 at Hamton, Saskatchewan to parents Nick and Katherine Kolebaba.
Doris is survived by her sister Anne Krepiakevich, her daughter Judy Douglas, son Norm Mazuren (Lois), grandson Warren Mazuren (Shauna), great-grandchildren Noah, Ethan, and Halaina, nieces and nephews, and seven step-daughters including Lesley Campbell-McInnis. She was predeceased by her husband, Les Brown and 3 infant siblings.
Doris was raised in the Yorkton area but spent most of her time in Chilliwack, Abbotsford and the last five years at Eden Care Centre in Chilliwack.
Doris enjoyed traveling, crocheting, reading, Sunday Services at Eden and spending time with her family.
A special Thank-you to the staff at Eden Care Centre for the loving care they provided our Mom during the last five years.
