Doreen Katherine (Nee Grant) Burton Late of Chilliwack BC, formerly of Oromocto NB, passed away on the 28.09.05 at 0100 hours in Chilliwack General Hospital age 74. Doreen was born on the 13.12.1930 in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Doreen has lived in Chilliwack for the last 22 years. A viewing for friends and family will be held on 01.10.05, 1300-1500 hours at Henderson’s Funeral Home at 45901 Victoria Avenue Chilliwack, BC. The Viewing will be followed by a reception to be held at Burton residence. Doreen is survived by her husband, Tom Burton, daughters Caroline Dostie, Rebecca Mermichel and Melissa Kelly as well as grandchildren; Paul Dostie, Thomas Dostie, Maria Dostie; Danielle Boudreau, Mary R. Kelly, Kate Addley, Tom Rogers, and Leigh Powley. Doreen was predeceased by her mother Eveleen Grant ( nee McCray), her father Jordan Grant and brother Barry Grant. Doreen will also be dearly missed by all of her great-grandchildren, her many friends from across Canada and her various furry and feathered friends for whom she so greatly cared.
Donations will be greatly accepted in Doreen’s name to the Chilliwack Animal Safe Haven.
