Donna left us peacefully on April 5, 2004 after a long courageous battle with lung cancer. Donna was born on May 5, 1947 in Regina, Sk. Her final days were surrounded by her family and friends who will cherish her memory forever.
Donna worked for Canada Post for 26 years. She loved the outdoors, camping and was a gifted artist. One of her greatest joys in life were her sweet grandchildren, Kathryn and Alexander Dicks.
Donna is survived by Ron, her husband and the love of her life for 36 years; her children, Gary; Ash (Kristy), Adair (Corrina), and Dore (Doug) Dicks; her 2 brothers and sister of Edmonton AB.
The family would like to thank Dr. Weatherston and all the medical staff in the Chilliwack Hospital.
A Memorial will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2004 at 3 pm at the Evergreen Hall, 9291 Corbould Street Chilliwack, BC.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Palliative Care Unit of the Chilliwack Hospital.
