Don passed away suddenly from a stroke at the airport in Calgary on August 15, 2010, at the age of 72.

Don was born in Bonnyville, Alberta. He grew up in St. Lina. Alberta.

After a few interesting jobs he joined the military in 1956. In 1960 he met and married Eleanor. In 1965 he became a civilian and worked for I.B.M. in North Bay , Ontario, Toronto and Vancouver.

Don was predeceased by his parents.

Don is survived by his wife Eleanor, two sons: Darin, Chris (Sara) and daughter Jessica; sister Irene (Keith), Hilda (Arnie) and various nieces and nephews.

Don loved his family and many friends. He enjoyed camping when the boys were young. Motorcycle riding and went on many motorcycle trips with his buddies. And travelled to many countries with wife Eleanor. He loved to gamble in Vegas and Reno. Lately at Nooksac River.

In 1980 Don became a pilot and bought a Cessna. Don and Eleanor flew all over Canada, USA including Alaska with the Boundary Bay Flying Club. It was one of the highlights in his busy life.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday August, 21, 2010 at 2 PM in the Slesse Room at Evergreen Hall 9291 Corbould St. Chilliwack, B.C. Informal Dress.
