Donald Alexander WATT

Donald Alexander Watt late of Chilliwack, BC passed away peacefully at the age of 67. He was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on March 26th 1938. Don is survived by Judy his wife of 43 years. They have three children Sydney (Carl), Robert (Lori) and Richard, and four grandchildren, Chantel, Derek, Holly and Ben.

Don served in the Canadian Forces from the early age of 16 from 1954 to 1980. He was especially proud to serve as part of the peace keeping force for the United Nations in Egypt and Cypress. Don was a Master Warrant Officer upon retiring from the army, he was then employed by corrections for over 18 years.

Don immensely enjoyed camping and canoeing in Nahatlatch Provincial Park outside Boston Bar. He had a strong connection to the area and was a campground host for several years. Don was a long standing member of Ducks Unlimited and participated in many wildflife surveys.
