Dianne Ada Frigon passed away on January 1, 2006 at Vancouver General Hospital at the age of 61 years. She was born in New Glassgow, Nova Scotia on February 25, 1944 and lived in this area for 18 years.
Dianne was a tremendous military wife for 41 years, a loving Mom and Nannie. She was extremely generous, loved to travel and enjoyed lending a helping hand to those less fortunate. She enjoyed working in Chilliwack and felt especially at home in the surrounding mountains.
She is survived by her husband Bob, daughter Dainna and husband Tim, son Troy and Lara, parents Lloyd and Daisy Stevenson, brother Dick and his wife Patricia, granddaughters Alycia, Brittany and Kaitlin and the extended Frigon and Stevenson families.
Special thanks to family and friends for their support during Dianne’s illness, with recognition for the outstanding care and compassion provided by the ICU staff at Vancouver General Hospital and the B.C. Transplant Society.
A Service of Remembrance will be held on Tuesday, January 10, 2006 at 1:00 pm from the Chapel at Henderson’s in Chilliwack with Father Fred Tassinari officiating. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the B.C. Transplant Society.
