Dennis James Gowans passed away on October 22, 2007 at Chilliwack Hospital at age 74 years. He was born July 2, 1933 in Doune, Scotland. Dennis is survived by his wife Helen; and daughters, Sheila (Dave) Ross, Carol Zarney (Mike MacKay) and Yvonne (Brian) Paulson; grandchildren Amanda and Andrew Butler, Tanya (Troy) Russell, Allan Zarney, Ariana and Damian Paulson; great-granddaughter Kimberly Russell.
Dennis was a loving husband and amazing Dad and an awesome Grandpa who always enjoyed life with family and friends. He will be greatly missed.
A visitation was held on Thursday, October 25, 2007 from 2 - 4 pm with a Memorial service followed at 4:00 pm from the Chapel of Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home, 45865 Hocking Ave. Chilliwack BC.
