Dennis F. Deley (Sept. 26, 1950 - Nov. 14, 2004) passed away peacefully Sunday, Nov. 14 at Chilliwack General Hospital after a brief illness. Dennis was surrounded by family and friends.
Born in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Dennis spent most of his life serving his country. A member of both the Canadian Armed Forces (retired) and the U.S. Military ('A' Co. 2nd BN 9th (M) Inf). Dennis travelled the world. His sense of adventure will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Dennis is survived by his wife Bonnafe and their daughter Melcharita. Brother and sister-in-law Peter and Lisa Deley (Thunder Bay), sister and brother-in-law Doreen and Roy Sallows (Winnipeg) and sister Kelley Deley (Toronto) nieces and nephews (Sean Sallows, Benjamin and Hannah Deley). Dennis is also survived by daughter Robyn Jessica Peters (Chilliwack) from a prior marriage, as well as many friends and family in Canada and the Phillipines.
Dennis will be remembered for his kindness, his gentle way and his love of family. A loving husband and devoted father, he will be dearly missed by family and friends.

Prayers with visitation following will take place on Sunday, Nov. 21, 2004 at 5:00 p.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church 8909 Mary St., Chilliwack, B.C. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Mary's on Monday, Nov. 22, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. Celebrant: Father Eugenio Aloisio.
In lieu of flowers donations in Dennis's name may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. McLean's Funeral Services in care of arrangements.
