Delvis Dion Morrison passed away on May 22, 2004 at Pauquachin Reserve, at age 39 years. He was born January 7, 1965.
Delvis is survived by foster parents, Frank and mary Malloway; several sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews; and his band family in Whitewood, Man.
He was predeceased by his biological family, Clarence, Laura and Etheline Morrison.
A funeral service will be held on May 31, 2004 at 10 a.m. from Richard Malloway Memorial Longhouse, Mike Kelly officiating. A viewing for family and friends will be held at the Richard Malloway Memorial Longhouse. Cremation will take place on a future date.
Pallbearers: Frank Malloway Jr., Kevin Malloway, Henry Ned, Craig Ned, Chad Archie, Fred Jackson, Bill Phillips, Francis Horne Jr., Kirby Dale, and Darwin Douglas.
Memorial donations may be made to Richard Malloway Memorial Longhouse, c/o Melinda Charles.
Delvis had a lot of friends and family throughout the Fraser Valley and the Island, and a lot of whom have claimed him. He is best known for his artistic ability. Delvis will be remembered by his outgoing and friendly personality.
