David Everrett HOOPER

November 5, 2003

Nov. 19, 1936 - Nov. 5, 2003

“In loving memory of a husband,

father, grandfather and friend.”

A gathering to celebrate David’s life will be held Sat., Nov. 15, 2003 at the Camp River hall from 1:00 to 4:00 pm.

For all of David’s family, friends, and who’s lives he touched, he will be loved, remembered, and admired. Come share some memories and celebrate his life.

A special “thank you” is given to those a Mission High School who stood by David, to the staff at the Mission Memorial Hospital, and to David's special friends from Crown Vending, Chris, Gai, and Donnie Dever. These people gave the precious support to our family that was needed on the day David passed on.

In lieu of flowers, donations will happily be accepted for a special scholarship called The David E. Hooper “Candy Man” Memorial Scholarship. These donations may be taken to HSBC Bank of Canada.

David is instilled in our hearts.

He shared his life, his love, his passions with all who cared. But even then, someone new he would meet, were thoughtfully touched by his honesty.

He loved and lived with all he believed in; taking special moments with those to share his heart on his sleeve.

His wisdom so sincere in what made him “Reverend Hooper”, the songs he would sin that vibrated our souls.

His memory will sing on in all who loved him and our hearts will always embrace the gift that he has given us.

David is survived by his wife, Genevieve Hooper, and her tow daughters: Geneen and Michelle; and David’s favorite little buddy “Tiki”. Also surviving David are his three daughters: Debbie (Michael), Sandy (Chris), and Cathy (David); grandchildren: Michael, Ashley, Erica, Julian and Austin; mother, Marie; and two sisters, Sandy and Gloria.
