It is with great sadness, that Danny Arthur Albert passed away suddenly September 9, 2009.
A devout family man, Dan was the most loving, amazing father, husband, son and friend. A humble man, gracious, with the highest integrity, Dan was a happy go lucky man who was always there for you.
He is survived by the love of his life, Karen (nee Mason), his 3 loving children, Curtis 13 yrs, Matthew 9 yrs, and Jessica 5 yrs. A Real Team, they did everything together as a family. His parents, Shirley and Eric, sisters Debbie (Al), Patsy (Steve), Susie (Todd) and brother Eric Jr. (Cheryl). Family Barth & Bonnie Mason, Mike (Sachiko), Mark (Kathy), many nieces & nephews, cousins and friends, all who adored him.
A very important part of Dan’s life was his Christian devotion to God. As a member of Southside Church in Sardis, he was part of worship group, he played and sang in the band and lent his talents to special occasion performances there. He will be missed by his church family who have been such an important part of Dan & Karen’s lives.
Dan enjoyed playing hockey, his music, camping with his family. The perpetual entertainer at family gatherings or year end shows, he could be counted on the to keep everyone entertained. A huge help to Karen’s dance world, doing backstage work or playing the best “Grinch” ever.
Dan was always anxious to meet new challenges and gave 150 percent to everything he did, be it work or play.
Originally from New Brunswick, Karen first met Danny when he was just completing his Military career overseas, settled here in Chilliwack with the love of his life, and set up home and family here for the last 15 years. He quickly embraced his new community and friends and was loved by all.

A Celebration of Danny’s Life will be held Thursday, September 17, 2009 at 3:00 pm at Central MB Church, 46100 Chwk Central.
