Loving wife of Fred (67 years), mother of Paul, Joanne (Mark), Shane (Donna), grandmother of Sophie, Reuben Martha passed away suddenly after a brief illness on April 22nd.
She is survived by her brother Al (Shirley), sisters Joyce (Gordie) and Sandy (Gerry).
The family moved to Chilliwack in 1972, making their way from the prairies. She was a homemaker, helped out on the farm, a fabulous cook and ran the Hope Bus Depot for 25 years.
She loved going to Hastings Racetrack to watch their horses run, especially when they won! She was an avid reader, loved to pick berries and walk with her friends.
The family would like to thank her caregivers, especially Kelsey.
She will be buried at the Beth Israel Cemetery in Vancouver.
