Clarence McLEOD

Clarence McLeod, late of Chilliwack, B.C. passed away Sept. 6, 2004 at the age of 92 years. He was born in 1912 on the homestead near Landis, Sask. He married Hanah Wurtz in Oct. 1936 and taught in Sask. for 18 years. They moved to B.C. in 1951 and he taught in the Chilliwack School System for 26 years; both Math and Science in Junior and Sr. Sec. He was active in the math club, photo club, science club and radio club. He was a former member of Order of Foresters, Lion’s Club, Chwk Camera Club, Amateur Radio Club, Chwk Golf & Country Club, Chwk Computer Club and Retired Teachers Association.

No service by request. Cremation, Valley Crematorium, Chilliwack. A tea to be planned at a later date for family and close friends.

He is survived by his daughter, Luverne (Del) Clark of Chilliwack; son, Douglas (Leanne) McLeod of Deep Cove; grandchildren: Sean, Candace, Michelle, Kymberly and great- grandson, Brenden.

He was predeceased by his wife, Hannah, in 1995.

Should family and friends so desire, donations in his memory would be gratefully accepted to a charity of choice.

A special thank you is extended to the staff at The Birchwood for their care and consideration. They were special people to him. Also, thank you to the staff at The Bradley Center, he was only there for 3 months; but they are a very caring team and we appreciate their attention.
