Christopher Rickson Oliver late of Chilliwack, passed away August 26, 2003 at the age of 58 years, after a lengthy battle with Cancer. He was born October 29, 1944 in Rigate, England. Christopher was a past member of the Independent Order of the Forresters. He played for the Fraser Valley Dart League.
A visitation of family and friends was held at Henderson’s Funeral Home from 2-4 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 28, 2003. Cremation to follow at Valley Crematorium, Chilliwack.
Christopher is survived by his loving companion of 15 years, Sharon Kaplan; son Richard of Ottawa, Ont.; step-son Mike Meyers of Surrey; parents, Frank and Ada Oliver of Chilliwack; and numerous cousins.
He was predeceased by his brother Greg in 1999; and his first wife Judy in 1982. Should family and friends so desire, donations in his memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
