Charles William Edward “Bill” Sherriff passed away on Friday, December 26, 2003 at Chilliwack, B.C. at age 83 years. He was born November 20, 1920 in Melfort, Saskatchewan. Bill’s memory will be kept alive by sister, Vi Stenerson; son Doug, daughters, Marilyn and Lynda, devoted daughter in law, Gail; grandchildren, Michael, Marie, Beverly, Angela and Michelle; great grandchildren, Kaleb, Calista, Devin and Ella. He was predeceased by his first wife, Dorothy in 1989 and second wife, Pat in 2003.Bill was a proud retired Vancouver firefighter who served in the R.C.A.F. He was a kind and generous man who was one of the last true gentlemen. The twinkle in his eye will be greatly missed. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2004 at 4:00 pm from the Chapel of Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home, 45865 Hocking Ave. Chilliwack B.C.
