It is with deep sadness that we announce that our beloved mom, sister and grandma, Catherine Elson passed away on January 13, 2006.
Catherine is survived by her three children, David (Sandy) Elson of Nepean, Helen Langelier of Kelowna and Peter (Mary) Elson of Edmonton. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Saundra Elson-Kuc (Todd Kuc) of Prince George, David (Elaine) Elson of Chilliwack, Cheryl and Murray Langelier, Kayleigh and Tegan Elson all of Edmonton and Kennedy Elson of Nepean; three great grandchildren, Matthew and Jackson Kuc of Prince George and Grace Elson of Chilliwack; two sisters and one brother, Mabel (Earl) Jarvis of Guelph, Norma (Vincent) Baker and William (Joy) Gilliland both of Toronto and their families. She was predeceased by her brother, Robert Gilliland of Toronto.
Memorial Service will be held on Thursday January 19, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel at Hainstock’s Funeral Home, 9810 - 34 Avenue, Edmonton, AB.
In lieu of floral tribute, a donation may be made to the Youth Emergency Shelter Society of Edmonton, 9310-82 Avenue, T6C-OZ6.
