It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Carol Fleming on Friday, April 3, 2009 at Grand Prairie, Alberta. She was born July 15, 1953 in Winnipeg.
Carol is survived by her spouse Greg; daughter Nicole and her husband Laurent and their son Joshua Glasroth; daughter Mandy Fleming; grandchildren: Jordan, Jessica, Cody and Brenna; brothers and sisters: Bruce Heward, Sherrie Loeb, Harold and Susan Heward, Melvin and Amy Heward, Tammy and Mike Arndt, and Danny Heward, also many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents Ruth and Bruce Heward; sisters: Susan and Sharon and grandparents Harold and Grace Curran.
Carol grew up in Chilliwack, going to school in district #33. After marrying, she lived in Campbell River, raising her daughters Nicole and Mandy. She was blessed with five grandchildren.
She met Craig and had 18 years together. He was the love of her life. Together they moved to Chilliwack where they had been for approx. six years, where she was employed at the A & W Restaurant, where she had many friends. Carol had just recently moved to Grande Prairie Alberta.
Graveside Service was held on April 8, 2009.
