Born to James O’Reilly and Heather Trundle on August 13, 1988

Cameron sadly passed away through the night of October 4, 2012 at the young age of 24 years. Cameron was born in Edmonton and one year later moved to Chilliwack where he resided. As a young boy he attended Cultus Lake Elementary School eventually graduating from Sardis Senior Secondary School. He was involved in sports for many years and had a true passion for golf. Most recently Cameron finished his apprenticeship and had successfully gained his journeyman’s ticket as a Red Seal Plumber. In his last three months he worked at his trade in Fort McMurray, Alberta and would fly home every three weeks. He had just arrived home for his next seven-day break.

Cameron had an amazing character that brought joy to those who were fortunate to have been touched by him. He had an uncanny way of making you smile just when you needed it most. He cared deeply about people and was always willing to be the first to step up and lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

Rest silent our sweet child. May we meet again in the after life on the 1st Fairway.

Cameron is survived by his ever-loving father, mother and brother, Shane Dornfield.

His celebration will be held at Henderson’s Funeral Home, 45901 Victoria Ave on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at 2:00 pm. Reception will be held at Cultus Lake Community School.

A trust fund in Cameron’s name will be created at Vancity Savings Credit Union, branch 31. Please donate to the fund in lieu of flowers.
