Bruce Geoffrey Thurston Gunning, aged 61, passed away on Friday, June 20, 2003 after some health setbacks. His daughter Kristina, his former wife Riitta, sister Gail Dixon & family, many good friends, acquaintances and pets survive him
His parents, Thurston and Elsie Gunning, and his son, Shaun Geoffrey Graham Gunning, predeceased him. Bruce was born on Feb. 13, 1942 in Montreal, QE. he moved to Vancouver in his late 20’s and has made Sardis his home for the past 10 years. Bruce was a retired businessman. He enjoyed living life with a good drink and good company and all the comforts of home. He was a good friend to many and sought out life with honesty and “always” in his own way. He will be in our thoughts forever, and in his daughter’s heart always. Funeral services are were held at Henderson’s Funeral home in Chilliwack, BC on Thursday, June 26, 2003 at 1:00 p.m.
