Blair Alexander Henry, born July 15th 1963 in New Waterford, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, passed away peacefully on December 27th 2008 with his wife by his side.

Blair is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Kelly, 2 sons Keith and Jordan, mother Rose, brothers Joe, Angus, Lester and Shawn, sisters Francis (Allie), Rose (Fred), father and mother-in-law (Stan and Jean Striker), brother and sisters-in-law, and many nieces and nephews.

Blair was predeceased by his father Raymond Ignatious Henry.

Blair proudly served his country in the Armed Forces for 12 years before changing careers and coming back to Agassiz with his family. Blair worked for the Coast Mountain Bus Lines in Vancouver. He also was a tour bus driver with Quick. This was one of the many jobs he loved to do, as you all know Blair enjoyed meeting and socializing with people. In April 2000, Blair became a Correctional Officer working at both Kent and Mountain Institutions. He proudly called his fellow coworkers his brothers and sisters.

Blair was a true family man. He could usually be seen at the hockey rink or at Cadets with his boys.

He will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him.

A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, January 6th 2009 at 11:00 a.m. from the Agassiz Agricultural Hall – 6800 Pioneer Avenue, Agassiz, B.C.
