Betty Helen Browne
October 24, 1923 - March 15, 2017
Sadly we announce the passing of Betty Browne, our mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to many. She will be greatly missed by her children - Bruce (Mary), Kathy, Jeff, Eric and grandchildren Kevin, Shaun, Barbara, Rhonda, Jeremy, Erin, Ryan, and several great grandchildren. She was born in Bassano, Alberta and moved to the Chilliwack area early in her teen years. She met the love of her life George Browne, and spent most of the rest of her life in the area. She was well known as a talented pianist - playing with many orchestras and for the dance school for many years. She also enjoyed being a member of the East Chilliwack Womens Institute. As well, she will be fondly remembered for her help with costuming for students of the dance school. A Celebration of Life will be held at Henderson's Funeral Home, 45901 Victoria Avenue on Saturday, March 25, 2017, at 2:00 pm with reception to follow.
