Beryl Catherine Maxwell passed away on February 6, 2006 at Eden Care Home at age 94 years. She was born in Gull Lake, Saskatchewan on August 4, 1911.
Beryl is survived by her nieces Barbra, Carol, Jo Anne, Sharon, Beth and Dianne and her friend, Don. She was predeceased by her sisters, Stella and Frances and her brothers, Alex and Don.
Beryl taught in Saskatchewan and Hamilton, Ontario before moving to the US where she was the road manager for a touring Theatre Company based in the southern states. Later she taught in Salt Lake City. She moved back to Canada and taught in Prince George. She moved to Chilliwack in 1962 and taught at Sardis Senior Secondary and Chilliwack High School until her retirement in 1977.
Memorial Services will be held on Friday, February 17, 2006 at 11:00 am at St. Thomas’ Anglican Church, 46048 Gore Ave, Chilliwack; Reverend John Sovereign officiating. If family and friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the St. Thomas’ Altar Guild or to a charity of your choice.
