Arthur Charles Buston went to his eternal rest on May 3, 2010 at Chilliwack General Hospital ICU with his family at his side, at the age of 73.

Art was born on January 31, 1937 in Russell, Manitoba. On May 29, 1963, Art married Caroline Faye Koss in Shelby, Montana.

Art had various careers throughout his life. He was a heavy equipment operator, a shovel operator for Cominco in Elkford, BC and a special constable to the RCMP in Russell.

In 1982 Art and family moved to Chilliwack where for the next 15 years he became the owner/operator of Nu-Look furniture. Art was a long time member of the Elks lodge and the Royal Canadian Legion. He loved playing pool, golfing, darts, curling, camping and singing Karaoke.

Art will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his loving wife of 47 years, Faye, children and their spouses Terrie (Ed), Patty (Mike), Lisa, Jodie (Scott). Grandchildren; Bradley, David, Jessica, Jennifer, Erik, Justin, Cailem, Brayden, Jordan. Great-grandchildren Emily, Sarah, Jaeda, Madison, “Special Sister-in-law” Delores Derkatch (Bill), Lori and family. “Special son-in-law” Brian MacGillivray (Jan) sisters, Rita (Glen), Lillian. The Davidson family of Russell and many nieces and nephews. Sadly predeceased by 6 siblings. Honorary pallbears are grandsons Bradley, David, Erik, Cailem.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm on May 14th, 2010 at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 45865 Hocking Ave., Chilliwack, BC.

Memorial donations may be made in Art’s name to The Elks & Royal Purple Children’s Fund.
