Arthur Aleck passed away on March 5, 2008 at Chilliwack Hospital at the age of 79 years. He was born April 7, 1924 in Chilliwack.
Arthur is survived by his wife, Anna; sons, Tony, Isaac, Baxter and David; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; his sisters: Mary Ann Roberts, Vi Roberts; and his brother Joe Aleck.
He was predeceased by his sisters, Kathleen Thomas, Vera Aleck, Beatrice Shackelly, Marie Smith, Lila Kelly and Florence Casmir and his brother Alvin Casmir.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at 11:00 am from St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 8909 Mary Street, Chilliwack. Interment in Cheam Cemetery.
Arthur will be missed by his hunting and fishing buddies and all the guys at work.
