September 26, 1936 — October 28, 2005
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Annie Jacoba Bezemer on October 28, 2005 at Chilliwack General Hospital.
Annie had a wonderful zest for life that was contagious. She was a wonderful wife and “best friend” to Alex for 48 years. Always a devoted and loving mother, she leaves Cynthia (Rick), Sasha (Jerry) and Alex (Tanya) to grieve her loss. “Oma” and her special smile will also be greatly missed by her four grandchildren, Adam, Jason, Anna and Willem.
Annie was a joy to know, and her passing leaves a void in the hearts of many friends that she touched with her cheerful disposition and appreciation for all that is good and honest in this world. Annie always spoke her mind with both conviction and compassion. She was a pillar of strength, wisdom, energy and honesty to all who were ever fortunate enough to know her.
Special thanks to the nurses and doctors at Chilliwack Hospital, whose professionalism, and compassion were a great comfort to both Annie and our family.
